William joined the radiation safety team in December of 2018 and brings a range of health physics experience. He holds a bachelor’s in nuclear engineering and a graduate certificate in toxicology and risk assessment. In 2019 William became a board certified laser safety officer and holds a RRPT certification since 2017. William started his career working for a consulting company in the San Francisco bay area before returning back east and has experiences ranging from MARSSIM pre-demolition work at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, university radiation and laser safety at USF, as well as supporting Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program refueling and overhaul operations with Newport News Shipbuilding.
William is active in the Health Physics Society at both the national and local levels including holding officer positions in the Midwest Chapter of the Health Physics Society since 2019.
