Ever Ellingstad has been with the Radiation Safety team since April 2005 as a full time health physicist. Evers’ background is in Nuclear Medicine which has a close tie with radiation safety and working with radioactive materials. The knowledge provided by his Nuclear Medicine degree fueled a career in the Nuclear Medicine area for nearly 29 years. Prior to becoming a full time health physicist he worked for a medical staffing group where Ever was hired as temporary staff in the Office of Radiation Safety and Nuclear Medicine Department here at the University. This was a test run for Ever as he agreed to join our team as a health physicist. His background in Nuclear Medicine was a great fit for radiation safety program. Ever has always worked well with the research and clinical staff to ensure the safety of the staff and regulatory compliance and has a wealth a knowledge, so do not be afraid to call him for assistance.
